BioWare made the announcement in a press release and new trailer that showed off more of Veilguard’s world and characters. Players take on the role of Rook, a customizable protagonist who rises up to become a hero of Thedas. The game also sports a supporting cast of companion characters, including Bellara, Davrin, Emmrich, Harding, Lucanis, Neve, and Taash, each of whom has their own special combat abilities and equipment.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta has revealed that a massive anti-human trafficking operation was conducted at San Diego Comic-Con that led to 14 arrests.
